Therapy that considers the whole person

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and trauma therapist in private practice in Manhattan. I believe therapy is most meaningful when it is thoughtful, collaborative, and responsive to the whole person, including the ways our experiences live in both the mind and body.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship and family dynamics, identity shifts, and life transitions, as well as the lasting effects of trauma. My clinical experience spans private practice, hospitals, emergency rooms, and community-based settings, where I have supported people through interpersonal trauma, assault, medical trauma, and early relational experiences that can continue to shape how we understand ourselves and connect with others.

In our work together, I bring a steady, attuned presence and draw from both talk therapy and Somatic Experiencing®. I’m interested in helping you understand not only what you are thinking and feeling, but also what your body may be communicating. Together, we can develop a deeper awareness of your patterns, build greater capacity for regulation, and create space for choices that feel more aligned with who you are and what you want.

My approach is warm, direct, and grounded. I don’t believe there is one way to do therapy, and I will meet you where you are while helping you move toward greater connection, agency, and meaning.

Alongside my clinical practice, I teach and provide training on trauma-informed care, gender-based violence, and embodied approaches to healing. I am an adjunct lecturer at NYU Silver School of Social Work and regularly guest lecture for academic and medical institutions.

About

Individual therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and explore what’s happening beneath the surface. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relational patterns, or a life transition, our work will be tailored to your pace and your needs. I integrate somatic and relational approaches to help you build awareness, increase capacity, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been shut down or overwhelmed. Therapy isn’t about fixing you- it’s about creating space for you to feel more whole, more present, and more aligned with who you are.

Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to explore your experiences in connection with others. In a thoughtfully facilitated space, group work can support healing around isolation, shame, and relational patterns that are often hard to shift alone. My groups are trauma-informed, structured to support emotional safety, and paced with care. Whether the focus is on trauma, boundaries, or nervous system regulation, the group becomes a space to be witnessed, to practice new ways of relating, and to experience the power of shared understanding. Please contact me directly for information about upcoming groups.

Couples therapy provides a confidential space to explore patterns, communication challenges, and underlying emotions within your relationship. Together, we work to build understanding, strengthen connection, and develop tools for navigating conflict or transition. Drawing on trauma-informed and somatic approaches, the goal is to create a safe environment where both partners can be heard and supported in fostering healthier ways of relating. Whether you’re facing longstanding challenges or recent changes, therapy offers a way to move forward with greater clarity and mutual respect.

Services

Somatic Experiencing®

As a certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP), I offer a body-centered approach to healing trauma and chronic stress. Somatic Experiencing®, developed by Dr. Peter Levine, is a gentle yet powerful method that helps regulate the nervous system and restore a sense of safety and resilience. Rather than focusing only on the story of what happened, this approach works with the body’s responses to trauma, guiding you to release stored tension, reconnect with your natural capacity to heal, and move forward with greater ease and vitality. If you are curious about how Somatic Experiencing® could support your healing, I welcome you to ask me more about this approach.
