My Story.
My Purpose.
I grew up in a small rural town in the Midwest in a working-class family grounded in humility, perseverance, and care. Those values continue to shape how I live and practice today. I have always been curious about people, our stories, and the ways we make meaning of our lives.
That curiosity led me to study Spanish and spend several years living and traveling in South America, including extended time in Ecuador. Living abroad deepened my understanding of belonging, displacement, resilience, and connection, and ultimately shaped how I think about the importance of relationship in healing.
I came to New York City to pursue my graduate degree in Social Work at New York University, and over time, the city became home. I continue to be inspired by its diversity, complexity, and resilience.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed, relational, and somatic approaches. I believe meaningful change happens when we have the space to slow down, develop a deeper understanding of ourselves, and reconnect with the parts of us that may have become difficult to access. I work with individuals, couples, and families in both English and Spanish, and I bring curiosity, warmth, and clinical depth to our work together. I also believe there is room for humor in therapy; sometimes laughter can create the space we need to breathe and reconnect.
At the heart of my work is a simple goal: helping people feel more at home in themselves, more connected in their relationships, and more able to move through life with steadiness and choice. I feel honored to walk alongside people as they reconnect with their strength, reclaim their voice, and discover what feels newly possible.
